John McKaig graduated with an MFA in printmaking from Syracuse University. He has taught printmaking, photography, painting and drawing for the past 20 years as well as been an avid Hardcore band promoter for just as long, earning him the nickname “The Godfather of Syracuse” amongst the country’s Hardcore fan base. He currently teaches visual art at Interlochen Arts Academy.
