AD Projects was happy to help Kenya (Robinson) with her recent performance as part of C24 Gallery’s show Campaign curated by Amy Smith-Stewart. Artnet TV covered the opening and they filmed part of the performance. Check out our own Abby & Jessica in the video around 3:00.

Tomorrow night at 200 Avenue A, Alejandro Guzman will be performing El Vejigante: Delusional Dreams at 8:30 pm. Space is limited so please arrive early & make sure to RSVP to kat@adprojects.org.
El Vejigante is a clown-like character from Puerto Rican festivals that has roots in both West African and Spanish heritages. In his piece, Alejandro dons a large sculptural suit and interacts with the audience using coins, a horn, and a taxidermy falcon. We’ll be exhibiting some of the artist’s intricately detailed ink drawings in the gallery as well which will be on view Saturday.
Barring rain, we’ll follow El Vejigante down Avenue A to Elsa at 3rd and B so bring your walking shoes!
